I don't know anyone who thinks that suicide is a logical solution to ANY problem; and I don't know anyone who thinks that suicide should be encouraged.
I do, however, know of websites where people like this gather. Pro-suicide websites. People go there and give out TIPS on how to effectively commit suicide.
Imagine someone, maybe someone you know; in a very depressed state, for whatever reason. They are weak, vulnerable and open to suggestion. Helpless enough to try anything. Maybe even considering suicide already.
They then find a website that lists effective suicide methods. Dosage amounts. How to tie a noose. Where to go to do it. Where to get drugs and handguns. All sorts of handy tips.
Suicide is a sad enough epidemic as it is, without easily accessible websites egging this tragic behaviour on.
A member of Bolt has created a petition to boycott these sites. If you agree with the cause, take five seconds and add your name to the list. If you don't, that's fine, but at the very least tell your friends about the petition. Just copy/paste this into an email or b/n or anything.
